I've had such a long day and I'm soo-ho tired.. but I just wanted to get these photographs up for you guys. I took them last week during our little trip to Sweden. Oh it was so much fun - I just love love love Stockholm and the weather was just perfect! Felt like early autumn all over again. I got that big fluffy scarf just before we left cause I wanted to make sure that I'd be all nice and warm, but now that I look at the pictures - it kinda makes me look like a tiny little midget! Probably because it's just so darn huge - I like to call it "the carpet", because it literally feels that I'm wrapping a huge rug around my neck when i wear it! haha, I do love it though, also because winter has finally hit Estonia and it has been so-so cold these past few days! huh. The only thing is that this scarf sheds like hell, so if i wear it with a black coat it seriously looks like I'm a crazy cat lady, cause i'd be covered in grey fur. haha, but it's all good, so I do hope you like the pictures and be sure to tell me what you think :)

Oi-oi, selline väsimus on peal, et kuku või pikali. Kool on korralikult pihta hakanud ja ega enne 6 õhtul koju ei saagi. Igastahes tahtsin need fotod siia nobedalt üles laadida, et siis saaksin ülejäänud õhtut ja tassikest teed juba horisontaalasendis nautida. Need hetked said siis eelmine nädal Rootsis üles pildistatud. Täitsa muhe väike reisike oli ja veel muhedam väike ilmake väikese päikese ja sügise hõnguga. Nii hea - nii hea. Ahjaa ja enne reisi otsustasin ka väikese investeeringu teha ning omale selle suure salli hankida, kuna mu eelmine pehme soolikas läks ühel kontserdil kaduma. Ja no kõik oli kena ja hea, aga kui ma nüüd pilte vaatan, siis tundub nagu ma oleks mingi väike käbi selle suure salli sees. Haha, arvatavasti sellepärast, et see on tõepoolest massiivne, hm ja tegelikult ma kutsungi seda hellitavalt vaibakeseks. Aga ta meeldib mulle, sest ta on nii soe, nii soe, nii soe ja no kuna ilmataat on otsustanud meid mõõduka Siberiga õnnistada, siis on mul ikkagi hea meel, et ma ta hankisin.. ainuke miinus on see, et ta ajab jubedalt karva ja kui ma teda näiteks musta mantliga kannan, siis ma võin küll hullu kassitapja mulje jätta, kuna oleks üleni kaetud hallide väikeste karvakestega. I took a walk the other day and realized that I live in a postcard! But I can't talk for long, I'm leaving for Sweden in two hours and I haven't even started packing yet! So I hope you like the pictures and be sure to tell me what you think :)

Käisin ükspäev mere ääres jalutamas, mis on muide 5 minuti kaugusel minu kodust, ja taipasin, et ma elan ühes ilusas postkaardis. Just one of those days when everything is nice and soft and warm and I feel so-very happy for no reason what-so-ever. Lovely. Also I'm excited for tomorrow - I'm going to have a friend over and we're going to visit the zoo. I think the last time I was there I could still fit into the little electric cars .. so it has been about 16 years. funfunfun. I'm also bringing my camera so prepare yourself. Mõned päevad lihtsalt on sellised, kui kõik on kuidagi hea ja soe ja mitte mingi kindla põhjuseta on tuju kuidagi eriti lustlik. Kahju ainult, et selliseid päevi on võimalik oma olemasolevate jäsemetega üles lugeda... ehk siis natuke liiga vähe. Aga see tähendab ainult seda, et kui selline õnnis päev kätte juhtub tuleb seda 140% ulatuses ära kasutada ja kohe kindlasti ka teistega jagada, nii et mu armsad lugejad - kiisupai teile kõigile! Ja mis veel uudist, uhu homme läheb neiu Pahk kamraadidega loomaaeda uudistama. Viimati käisin seal siis, kui suutsin ennast veel nendesse väikestesse elektriautodesse ära mahutada, ehk siis mõõdukad 16 aastat tagasi. Tõotab tulla põnev päev! Happy new year everyone! I hope you all had a lovely-dovely new years eve - got all dressed up, had some champagne and spent time with the most awesome people! 2011 was definitely a very hard year for me - lot of disappointments and quite a few setbacks, but that can only mean that things are only going get better! We learn from our mistakes and move on - so I have high hopes for 2012! Gonna make this year count! Already have some biiiiiig plans, but I'm not going to share them just yet! Head uut aastat wopadiwoo! Loodetavasti oli teil kõigil ülimõnus aastavahetus - ilus kleidike seljas, natuke liiga palju shampust ja sõbrad-tuttavad ümberringi! 2011 oli minu jaoks üks paras pähkel aasta. Raske oleks vist isegi vähe öeldud, aga.. sellegipoolest asendamatu! Sain aru, et kui elu ei ole lill ja taevamannat parasjagu ei saja, siis olen üks vapper väike sõdalane ja murran edasi. I'm so boring, i know. But hopefully you'll bear with me. It's so difficult to take decent photos cause there's almost no light during the day and it gets dark so fast. And since a have the most annoying sleeping schedule, I hardly ever see any daylight.. so damn it. But anyways.. my new illustrations are out, woop! I might show them in my next post, and I might not. I have promised to show my work before, but I've always changed my mind, since I've had some very inconvenient incidents with people using my work without permission, and my artwork is very personal to me so I would be beyond annoyed if something like that would happen again. I know I could just go crazy with watermarks etc, but I just feel that would ruin the piece so you can see dilemma. But I hope you enjoy the photos and be sure to tell me what you think :)

Nii raske on viimasel ajal pildistada, sest valgust pole ollagi ja no ega see ka kaasa ei aita, et mul öö ja päev jälle sassis on. Päevavalgust näeb üldsegi nii harva, et kuku või ahastusest pikali ja veere voodi alla. Ma olen tegelikult üks paras valguse sõltlane - väike helk päikest vastasmaja akna peegeldusest ja mul on kohe tuju hea, mis on iseenesest veider, sest enamus unetunde pärineb mul just päevasest ajast.. hmm. Aga nobedamaid uudiseid on ka - nimelt uued illustratsioonid on jälle ilmunud ja poelettidel! Jeje! Seekord siis suur 2012 aasta horoskoop! Niiet kui teile Anne&Stiil peaks näpuvahele sattuma, siis visake kindlasti pilk peale. Võimalik, et näitan neid järgmises postituses lähemalt ka, aga lubada ei julge. Olen varem ka tahtnud oma töid näidata, aga viimasel hetkel alati ümber mõelnud. Need ebameeldivad juhtumised, kus mu pilte on luba küsimata särkide peale trükitud ja kõiksugusel muul moel loata ära kasutatud on mind äärmiselt paranoiliseks teinud. Ja kui fotodest on mul mõõdukalt ükskõik, siis kunstitöödega on lood teisiti. Muidugi võiksin ju kõiksuguste vesimärkide ja pildi suurustega möllata, aga minu meelest rikuvad need töö ära, niiet säh sulle kooki moosiga - dilemma missugune. Öääö aga jälle unustasin ennast siia lobisema, kui peaksin hoopiski õmblema.. aga teie, mu hiirekesed, olge ikka tublid, ja ma loodan, et pildid meeldivad :)

Midterms are over and I'm alive. I have free time now.. and I can actually sleep - what is this magic! Anyways.. I came home for the holidays - so I've just been eating and sleeping for the past few days. I woke up at six p.m. today - some say useless, I say bloody brilliant! But here are some photographs that I took over the past few weeks just to sum up the craziness of midterms - work, coffee, more work, no sleep, more coffee, work, work, coffee, insanity due to lack of sleep, work, coffee, work. Aaaahhh midterms are here and all the exams and finals and horror is just around the corner - so I've been working like a crazy person to get everything done, but i'm still soooo behind and I still have well.. everything to do. So forgive my absence and the lack of posts during these past few weeks. But here are some photographs for you guys to enjoy! Minu suur sõber Sess on saabumas koos semude eksami ja hindamistega ja kõiksuguste tähtaegade ja muu jubedusega. Today was such a good day - sun was shining, i got some really awesome news, my new illustrations are going to out in a few days (I actually forgot to show you this months illustrations, I'll just show them in my next post) and I'll also be signing my new lease tomorrow. That's right! I finally found an apartment and I'll be moving this week - yay! It's a really cute little place with yellow walls and a big window.. and it just screams my name. I love it. This is the lovely kitty hat that my cutiepie of a friend Kati made for me. I think it's just so me - the fact that it's gray and has white ears and a black shiny(!) bow! Perfect! Although the one thing I don't like about this hat in that every time I see my reflection I just feel the sudden urge to tuck on the cute little kitty ears and make some god awful squeaky voice - you know the kind that young moms make when they see their baby drooling and think it's the most adorable thing in the world and when people try to talk to cute little puppies and stuff.. yeah.. that kind of voice. Lugu sellest kuidas Kati kudus mul üks kiisumüts ja kuidas Kerti seda nüüd eladeski peast ei võta. Uiui, no midagi nii armsat ja pehmet ja sooja võiks küll igal tublil põhjamaa inimesel kuskil kapis valmis olla, et kohe kui ilm hakkab käru keerama oleks linn kohe kiisusid täis ja pime talv oleks hoopiski pehmem. Ainult üks asi on selle mütsikes juures pisut kaheldav - nimelt iga kord kui ma oma peegeldust näen tekib mul kuri tahtmine neid nunnusid kiisukõrvakesi mudida ja tuua lagedale kõige kiledamat häält, mida üks inimkõrv taluda suudab. So here's a little overview of my lovely-dovely birthday! I thought that I would have to spend the evening alone, eating jello and watching Project Runway, but no.. some honey bunnies came to visit and we had so much fun. I was so-so happy. yay! The first two pictures with the two lovely sweaters, cross necklace, earrings and some make-up were a gift from me to.. me :D I couldn't remember the last time bought myself something nice, so i thought what the heck - besides both of the sweaters are thrifted and were only 1.50 EUR each! And i had been drooling over that cross necklace since it came to the store, but it was sooo expensive and as you know.. I'm pretty much your regular starving art student so it was a bit over my budget - but when a finally decided to get it for my birthday it was 50% off.. so hip-hip-hurray! It's like seppälä just knew and decided to give me a treat for my birthday! The other packages and flowers and that super cute hat(that I'm gonna show off in my next post), were gifts from my sweethearts! Oh and the last package is from Japaaan, Annu actually sent it a bit early so I got it a few weeks back, but I love-love-love it! I'm gonna let you enjoy this post now and be sure to tell me what you think :)

Heihops! Väike ülevaade minu sünnipäevast siis! Ma olin täiesti kindel, et veedan õhtu üksinda arvuti ees, vaatan Project Runwayd ja olen forever alone nagu tavaliselt, aga minu üllatuseks oli kõik hoopiski vastupidi - kiisud tulid külla, tõid kaasa hunniku head tuju ja meil oli ülimuhe väike õhtukene koos veini, koogi ja juurikatega. Pärast oli nii hea soe olla. Need kaks mõnusat kampsikut ja järgmise pildi peal olevad ehted ja põsepuna olid minu kingitus iseendale :) Ma ei mäletagi, millal ma viimati endale midagi ostsin, niisiis mõtlesin, et õnn kaasa - ma olen nüüd aastakese vanem ja väärin selle eest väikest medalit - niisiis lubasin endale paar väikest jubinat. Kampsikud leidsin ma Paavli kaltsukst ja need olid mõlemad.. pampapapaaa.. 1.50!! ui ui ja seda ristikujulist kaelaketti olen ma juba viimased paar nädalat poes imetlemas käinud, aga ei raatsinud seda kunagi osta, sest nohjah.. nagu nälgivale kunstitudengile kohane on põhirõhk siiski makaronide soetamisel, mehee.. aaaga kui ma lõpuks siiski otsustasin, et nüüd on õige aeg see endaga koju kaasa viia oli see 50% allahinnatud! halleluuja! Seppälä oleks just nagu teadnud ja mulle sünnipäeva puhul kiisupai teinud. Järgmised pakikesed ja lillekesed ja see ülinunnu kiisumütsike, millega ma järgmises postitused eputada kavatsen, olid minu väikeste vaprate sõdalaste kingitused ja viimane pakike on minu kõige vaprama sõdalase - Annu pakike Jaapanist ja tema jubedate harakajalgadega kirjake, mis oli nii soe ja kodune, et kohe võttis kohe silmad märjaks. Võib öelda, et ma olen üks õnnelik Kerti. Nonii, aga teie, mu hiirekesed, olge tubli, ja ma loodan, et pildi meeldivad! :)

Yes, my lovelies, it indeed was my birthday yesterday!I'm now officially 21 years old! Can't believe it, time goes by so fast. I mean it's like it was yesterday when I was 14 and living at home - watching cartoon network and collecting powerpuff girls stickers and had crushes on my brothers friends.. and now I'm living alone away from family and friends, um.. well still watching cartoons, collecting weird stuff and drooling over cute boys. Hm, now that I think about it nothing has really changed.. well except for my address and the magic number. I don't think I'll ever grow up! Yay for that! So here are some photographs I took yesterday, just to capture my ageing process :D Oh and I had a lovely picnic in the park with some friend and the sun was shining and everything was soft and nice and.. lovely. Heihops! Neiu Pahk sai eile ametlikult 21 aastaseks. Jeesus halasta ütleks ma selle peale - kuidas aeg lendab! Täpselt selline tunne nagu oleks eile 14-aastane olnud ja kodus elutoa diivani peal lille lasknud cartoon'i pealt powerpuffe vaadanud, kleepsukesi kogunud ja salaja vanema venna sõprade nimesid päevikusse maalinud.. ja nüüd - elan üksi pealinnas, vaatan endiselt ebatervislikes kogustes multikaid, kogun veidrat manti siit ja sealt ning leian ennast piinlikult tihti Viru keskuse kommipoe müüjaid piilumas. Hmm... kui ma nüüd järele mõelda, siis polegi ju suur midagi muutunud.. peale mu aadressi ja selle maagilise numbri. Meh, suureks kasvamine ongi ülehinnatud! yay! Jah igastahes lasen teid nüüd pilte vaatama, mis ma eile suutsin üles pildistada, lihtsalt et oma vananemist jäädvustada. Aga tore oli vananeda - käisime kiisudega pargis kooki söömas, nautisime päikest, rotte, kujutavat geomeetriat ja koonuseid.. ühesõnaga pöial ja like. Long time no see! Sorry about that, I was trying to get my computer fixed since it had been in a slow motion mode for the past few moths now. A nice little format-c and a couple of hours later.. and it's still slow as a bloody banana and on top of that the command bar and start menu are having some kind of a strobe jam together - they're just constantly blinking and disappearing and whatnot. What gives! argh! So I have no idea what the hell is wrong with this machine. But anyways.. schoolwork has been taking up most of my time so I haven't been doing anything too exciting. I couldn't go home this weekend either, cause I have sooo much things just begging to get done.. so I thought that oh yay - I can just stay in my dorm and have nice productive weekend.. but little did I know that there is no such thing as nice productive weekend along with some peace and quiet in the dorm - oh no.. nonono. There are things like "let's celebrate some random guys birthday in the hallway" and.. "uuh let's listen to Basshunter till 4 in the morning" oooor.. "lets test how many foreigners can fit into a teeny-tiny little kitchen". Right. So I'll just continue my apartment hunt and hope that something will come up soon. Fingers crossed! But I'm gonna stop rambling now and go to bed, busy day tomorrow! Oh and I'm so happy that so many of you were interested in seeing my illustrations and portfolio and school and all that jazz - so I'll try to put something together for guys in the next couple of weeks. Heihops kiisukesed! Selle nädala missioon oli siis lõpuks ometi oma arvuti korda saada - ta on mul nimelt siin juba paar kuud mäkra mänginud. Mõtlesin siis naiivselt, et väike format-c ja hops kõik korras nagu Norras, aga otseloomulik venib ta endiselt nagu lehmatatt.. oho ja mis veel lõbusam - nüüd on alumine menüüriba ja start menüü mingisse strobo deliiriumisse sattunud ja vilguvad siin üksteisevõidu. Surm ja hukatus ütleks ma selle peale. Noohjah, muidu on eluke ikka vaikselt edasi veerenud, koolitöö hoiab mõnusalt tegevuses ja vabu hetki nagu polekski. Koju ka see nädalavahetus minna ei saanud - mõtlesin siis naiivselt, et oi näed kui tore saangi rahu ja vaikust nautida ning kenasti produktiivne olla, aga no otseloomulikult mitte. Ühikas ei eksisteeri sellised asjad nagu rahu ja vaikus.. või produktiivsus.. või jumal halastagu - õppimine. Ooo ei.. ühikas eksisteerivad sellised elulised küsimused nagu: mitu sakslast mahub väikesesse 2x2m kööki, kui kõvasti peab Basshunterit kuulama, et korrus allpool elavad inimesed enam oma mõtteid ei kuuleks.. või mitu inimest tuleb mu sünnipäevapeole kui ma terve ühika plakateid ja kutseid täis kleebin?
Vot selliste eluliste probleemidega peab siin maadlema. Haha, ei ega ma ei nurise.. tegelikult on see kõik ju tore ja uus ja huvitav, aga no see ei tähenda muidugi, et ma enam korterikuulutusi ei sirviks. Aga mis mind veel rõõmsaks tegi oli näha nii palju positiivset vastukaja ja huvilisi, kes sooviksid minu töid ja portfooliot ja kooli ja muud sellist näha, niiet proovin nobedalt nüüd midagi põnevat teie jaoks kokku panna. Just some photographs I took last week. Haven't had the time to go out to shoot so I'm sorry that this post is again somewhat random. But I've gotten quite a few requests to do a post about my school and my work and what it is that I do.. so I'm gonna start working on that.. and hopefully have something up for you guys! But the thing is every time I bring my camera to school I tend to have such a busy schedule and never have time to take any photographs.. and since my bag is already so full of.. well... crap, and is heavy as it is.. than carrying around my massive camera without taking any pictures is useless. Right, but I am gonna try to fix that so.. yay! Also if you guys want to see some of my illustrations or my graphic design portfolio or something like that.. then just let me know and I'll put something together. It's been raining cats and dogs these past few days - so I've been wearing really basic and comfortable things. Nothing too interesting so I'm sorry if this post is a bit boring. But I did find this gorgeous fabric the other day - I think I'm gonna make a cute little dress out of it.. I do like the bold pattern tough, it is exactly what's missing from my wardrobe. Oh I still have no internet in my dorm, so I have to carry around my massive chunk of a laptop along with all the other crap that I stuff in my bag every morning.. I should really stop doing that. Another week gone by without me even noticing it. I've just been enjoying school and all the interesting lectures and this overall "everything-is-new-and-exciting" vibe that I always get when autumn comes around. It's actually my favorite season.. for many reasons - I love the fashion, weather and colorful leaves and pretty much all that autumn has to offer. So yay! I also wanted to show you guys my new vintage garment bag that my relatives gave me for school. I used to stuff all my clothing into a little raggedy Adidas sport bag and they would all get wrinkled and messy.. so this is a perfect little thing for a fashion designer or a stylist to have. Heihop, jällegi on märkamatult üks nädal mööda tiksunud.. aga ma ei pahanda, eks aeg lendab kiiresti kui on palju tegemist ja koguaeg midagi põevat toimub. Naudin ikka hoolega kooli algust ja uusi õppejõude ja loenguid, mis on oi-oi kui huvitavad. Ühtlasi on ka sügis kätte jõudnud, mis veel olemise eriti muhedaks muudab, nimelt on sügis mu lemmik aastaaeg - uued kollektsioonid, värvilised lehed, jahe ilma..oioi ja kõik on nii uus ja huvitav ja mida kõike veel. Ühesõnaga me oleme sügisega suured sõbrad. Isegi hommikused kooli jalutamised on kuidagi asendamatult mõnusad khm* võino .. pigem ikka jooksmised kuna õigel ajal ärkamine on ilmselgelt nõrkadele.. kuigi enda kaitseks võin öelda, et ma olen siiki vaid ühe korra hiljaks jäänud see semester! (notetoself- semester on kestnud vaid neli päeva). Ja veel tahtsin näidata oma uut rõivakotti, mille sugulased mulle kooli alguse puhul kinkisid. Mulle kohutavalt meeldivad sellied ülipraktilised, aga samas nii stiilipuhtad asjad. Ei jõua ära oodata kuni saan sinna juba midagi enda disainitud sisse panna. Uhu. Again a rather quick and somewhat random post. Just some photographs I took during this week, nothing special. Aaah I'm so tired because some genius in our dorm has decided to declare war and finds that it is funny to switch the fire alarm thingy on and off in the mornings. So my head hurts and my stomach growling.. and I just remembered that I don't have any milk left for coffee. Life is swell. But on the other hand, my new illustration is out and I just got two more stories to illustrate for the October issue, so it will be a busy month for me. yay! This post has a sense of melancholy - it is a sort of farewell to my lovely hometown Tartu. I will miss it immensely, although I know I will be visiting as often as I can. I will also be saying good-bye to Annu, who has been my best friend for 14 years now. These photos are from a few days back when Annu and I did what we've been doing for years - we got ourvselves a cup of coffee, went to our favorite park, did some people watching and talked for hours. I know this is something we won't be able to do for a while now, but I've decided not to be sad about any of it because both Annu and I will be doing what we love and I believe that Tallinn has a lot to offer to me. But the exciting part is that I've already started moving and will soon be all settled in. I still have a couple of more suitcases to bring over and, oh yeah, I also need a carpet, and a lamp and a pillow... Riiight. But I hope you guys are enjoying the last few weeks of summer, enjoy the pictures and be sure to tell me what you think! :)

I've noticed that I don't really draw that much anymore - not for fun at least. When I do something it's usually for school or for work.. and I've almost forgotten how enjoyable and relaxing it can be. So I've decided to give myself a little bit of a challenge. I'm going to try to do an illustration every time I post an outfit. Hopefully I can keep it up.. and hopefully you'll enjoy them too. You can also find this outfit on lookbook HERE. I don't know about you guys, but i sometimes get obsessed with the weirdest things.. well not weird - but just random. It can be anything - from chocolate pudding to a certain cartoon character (click!) , cute stationery or like in this case just a simple color. Can you guess what color by looking at the photographs? Well.. It's this gooooogreous blue with a teeny-tiny hint of mint. I cant get it out of my head - I love it so much, i want to paint my house and my room and everything I own this color. I think I got the 'bug' when I looking through French vogue that Annu got me from Paris. The model on the cover had the exact blue eye color and background - absolutely breathtaking. Anyways .. this brings me to another obsession of mine - simple white dresses - 'canvas dresses' as i like to call them. This particular one is from Romwe, but over time I've have managed to collect a bunch of them from allover. I love them so much, because these types of basic items allow you to be naughty and wear whatever color or accessories that you like and normally wouldn't wear or even know how to wear. Konkreetselt, täiesti suvalised asjad - näiteks mingi hetk ei söönud ma mitte midagi muud peale Tere šokolaadipudingu, siis tõmbasin ma enda niigi täis kõvakettale hunnikute viisi Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends'e sest Bloo (!!kliki) tundus kui kõige geniaalsem tegelane üldse, järgmisel hetkel kulutasin tunde disainiblogides ringi lustides kus imetlesin ilusa kujudusega kirjatarbeid(!!). Praeguseks ohvriks on aga värv - selline ilus taevasinine, milles on tsipakene rohelist kuma, teatud valguses meenutab isegi Tiffany and Co karbikesi, aga on siiski rohkem taevasem. Täitsa võimalik, et see jäi külge kui ma Annu toodud prantsuse Vogue'i lappasin, nimelt oli seal üks modell, kelle silmad ja esikaane taust olid täpselt seda tooni. Ja millest ma veel küllalt ei saa on sellised lihtsad valged kleidikesed, mis sobivad absoluutselt kõigega. Antud kleit on Romwest, aga mul on läbi aegade õnnestunud selliseid basic kleidikesi igalt poolt kokku kraapida. Niisiis kui mul ühel heal päeval peaks tekkima tahtmine osta endale näiteks.. hm.. ütleme lillatpunastetäppidegaussikujulistvöömoodipeaasja, mis arvatavasti mu ülejäänud garderoobiga just kõige paremini läbi ei saaks, siis tänu lihtsatele riideesemetele nagu selline valge kleit, ei peaks ma seda ostu tegemata jätma. Igastahes üks suur rasvane pöial ja like! Nüüd tuli küll veidike pikk tekst, aga medal neile, kes siiski viitsivad lõpuni lugeda. Just a little photo diary of a tiny trip to Tallinn with Annu. It's been so hot these past few days that I've just been sitting around and doing nothing really, also been feeling very uninspired and pointless.. just bleughhh. But since I don't want to be nominated as the crappiest blogger of the summer I decided to suck it up and go trough some of my photographs and prepare some posts for the upcoming days. I was in Tallinn last week so that explains the lack of posts - but I'm back so here you go! I took half of these photographs a while back when I was attending a birthday party at little mansion in the middle of Estonia and the other half was taken for my portfolio. A quick little post for you guys. Huh I've been so busy working my butt off that I haven't had the time to update my blog - and believe me it's been killing me, but just one more week to go and it will all be over. Yay. I actually had a really great day today - ran some errands with Annu, got some much needed art supplies, raided a fabric store.. oh and managed to sunbathe for the second time during this summer. Aah I'm so pale that it's not even funny! .. And now for the outfit - I've been wearing a crochet top and necklace from romwe and my most favorite skirt of all time which is from H&M, the gorgeous black satchel is also from romwe but I already managed to break it - yeah I just had to try and stuff all my earthly belongings in there. And now for the graduation! Maybe it's just me but I didn't view it as a sad event at all. On the contrary, it was one of the best and most anticipated days of my life. The ceremony itself was very sweet - organized by third year students who did a wonderful job with decorating. The way everything was arranged was truly remarkable. All my lovelies came to congratulate me and despite it being somewhat cold and windy (my main focus was on keeping my dress from flying up), it was a perfect day. Miss Pahk, now a proud graphic designer, graduated with honours from Tartu Art School. Booyah! And what does the future have in store for me? The capital city and higher education!

Ja nüüd lõpetamine! Ma ei tea kas asi on minus, aga minu jaoks polnud see sündmus mitte ühestki otsast kurb. Üks paremaid ja oodatumaid päevi minu elus kui nüüd aus olla. Aktus oli nagu ikka kunstikoolile kohaselt väga armas ja vaimukas - kolmas kursus vastutas kujunduse ja muu korraldusliku poole eest ja nad said suurepäraselt hakkama. Tõepoolest kõige ilusam kujundus mida ma näinud olen. Kiisud tulid kõik kenasti kohale mind õnnitlema ja kui välja arvata, et oli pisut külm ja tuuline (ja mu põhitähelepanu läks sellele, et mu kleit ülepea ei lendaks) siis oli täiesti ideaalne päev. Neiu Pahk lõpetas neljade-viitega Tartu Kunstikooli kujundusgraafiku eriala. Booyah! Ja mis edasi? Pealinna õppima!

Yay!!! I am now officially done with school! My presentation went great and I got a maximum! It was so scary and I seriously deserve a medal for that! .. anyways I'm gonna spend the next couple of days running some last minute errands for school - like cleaning my locker and returning all the keys and door cards etc. I still can't believe that it's over. huh. I was planning on posting these pictures ages ago, but I never got around doing it - I've just been working on my final design project for school which I am going to be presenting tomorrow.. I actually have no idea how to say it in English, I bet there's a really good expression for it but yeah.. anyways I'll try to explain for you guys - when you're finishing art school you have to do one final big project (your diploma-work) and present it in front of a big crowd and a committee of experts - who will then evaluate your project in general and also how you present it and justify your design choices. I feel pretty confident right now but i bet the minute I get up there I'm going to have an heart attack :D Yay for me! But I'm gonna wrap this post up and go practice in front of a mirror. Sorry that I've been missing for the past few weeks. As usual school-school and more school. Haha but I have a week off before my final(!!!) exam so I'll try to update my blog as much as I can. Buuuuut the exiting part is that I'm going to be graduating on 18th of June. Boooyaa! I was so behind with my work at some point that I was really worried that I wasn't going to make it buuuuut I did it! Aah finally - warm weather and sunshine have found their way to Estonia. Yay, now I just wish I could have some time to relax and enjoy, but like always - school is taking up most of my time. But graduation is just around the corner so all my hard work will be worth while. But here are some photographs for you guys. I have wanted this kind of a sheer boyfriend style shirt for sooo long and when I finally saw it on romwe.com my mind started playing hopscotch - yes I know, I'm a nerd.. I know. Anyways it's perfect for spring/summer. The mint green skirt is also one of my newest little additions to my wardrobe - I picked it up when I was in Florence, it's from H&M along with the massive stone ring, which by the way reminds me of brown sugar so every time I look at it I get hungry. The ring is evil I tell you :D The sandals I'm wearing are also from romwe. The Marilyn Monroe clutch-bag-thingy is kind of my own creation - it's actually a really cheap wallet I found when I visited some random fleamarket in Italy - but I immediately fell in love with the colors and the graphics of it, so I thought it would be a shame to hide it away in my purse. So I turned it into a little minibag by adding the strap holder thingy and a chain. Yay! Oh and you can also find this on lookbook HERE. I'm alive. Believe it or not, but yay. Wanted to thank everyone for your support and all the lovely comments on my last post. I didn't know there were so many doglovers out there. But nevertheless thank you all so-so much. It really means a lot. I wish I had some good news to share, but.. life's a .. you know what. Pupster hasn't gotten any better, she's still not able to walk and is on heavy medication. But she's a brave little bunny and is not giving up and neither am I. Taking care of her and handling some other significant and insignificant setbacks have really taken a toll on me, but ... "give me hard times and I'll work harder" (P.Wolf). So I have a mission to get back on my horse - starting with school, e-mails, my blog and all the other side projects. No more wallowing in sorrow,

Fever Ray - The Wolf

My pup has been sick for a few days now, but today it got a lot worse so I had to take her to the emergency vet. I could just feel my eyes starting to water and stomach turning into nuts, when I stood there waiting for the doctor. But Nossmon was such a brave little bunny and didn't even make a sound when the doctor enjected her with painkillers using the biggest most horrific needle (!!!) - unlike me, who was crying like a baby. Sometimes I just wish that I could be child so that my mother could tell me that pupster is going to be okay.. and I would so naively believe her. But I guess it's just a part of being an adult - there are no shortcuts, no stories about little farms where the animals can go and play and live forever - you just have to learn how to deal with things like this, with all the pain and the heartache. I left with a tired little puppy and a handful of medicine - so the next few days are going to be crucial. I just really hope that she's going to make it and everything will be okay. And hopefully I can pull my act together by the time of my interview.. needless to say that I'm sobbing all over the computer as I'm writing this. Wish us luck!

I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting lately - well that's just because I 've been looking like a beat up old dog from all the stress and lack of sleep. As many of you art students might know - university interviews have started so I need to get my portfolio together and looking good, also juggling with school, my diploma work and other projects - ooh.. the pain. Yeah, but what'cha gonna do. Just need to find ways to keep myself ~~alive~~ motivated.

Anyways.. I also wanted to tell you about Candy Chang - a public installation artist, designer and an urban planner who's projects have really touched and inspired me. This is one of her latest projects "before I die.." where she turned an abandoned building into a an art installation - where the residents can fill in the blanks and remember what is truly important to them in life. I have to say that this really got me thinking .. what would I write ? I think there isn't enough wall space in the world to fit all the things I want to do before I die. Isn't it wonderful.

I've been feeling like a SIMS charater all week. Seriously.. I see the little green icons over people's heads and the little idicators, huh perhaps it's because I've been having trouble sleeping so my head has started playing tricks on me. But hey, I'm not complaining.. on the contrary! So whoever is sitting behind the computer screen and moving my little avatar - yay for you! And just to illustrate the situation and how I've been seeing things - I made this funny little selfportrait thingy magingy. The photograph is actually a frame from a tiny animation project for school, which I still haven't finished yet, but I think I might buy a large canvas tomorrow and make this sillyness into a painting. Oh and the T-shirt that I'm wearing is from glamclothingstore.com - which is a little online store that has the most awesome T-shirt designs ever. I was actually breaking my back, trying to find a light pink blush like this, and than one day I saw this pretty little thing in a random food store and it was on sale, so I got it for like 2 euros, yay!

I can already feel the warmth of spring in the air, altough it was just snowing this morning. But I know that it's just a few weeks away - so i've been trying to get into the groove of things and shake this winter depression off. I always like to start with the little things - like changing up my perfume! My all time favourite spring/summer scent is this Mallorca girl from seppälä, uuh I can't even begin to explain how much I love-love-love this smell! For me it's like a little time machine, cause I pretty much go back to this perfume every spring/summer, so it always reminds me of the best times. It's also a really great dupe for Davidoff "happy summer" fragrance. So if you don't feel like spending a lot, you can just grab for the Mallorca girl./ Oh and I made this illustration last summer and it was actually inspired by the scent of Mallorca girl. (I used pen and photoshopCS3)

I also like to change up my nail polish. I'm not really ready for those bright-neon colors yet, but just lighter ones. So instead of my usual black or dark blue, I use light grey or white. I've also been obsessed with little tangly bracelets and re-discovering old jewellery.

/ Light grey nailpolish from H&M, butterfly ring is vintage/ bracelet is self-modified: I just took a bunch of little charms I had lying around and attached them on this little silver chain which was a gift from a friend :)

This calls for a celebration - my blog hit the 1 year marker yesterday! I have to say that this year has been exeptionally lovely - that ofcourse all thanks to you guys.
