You would have loved it here tonight.

We had such gorgeous foggy weather the other day, so I decided to go to my favorite little winter wonderland and shoot some pictures. The place was as peaceful as ever and as always I was the only one there. And just when I got the hang of capturing this foggy magic I noticed a fellow with a bike, just strolling down the lake. As he got closer he set his bike down to a nearby tree, sat down and pulled out a beer. It was just such a delight to see someone just sitting there overlooking the lake, sipping beer  and enjoying this lovely day. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't mind the freezing cold and likes to savor days like this. So here are the pictures, hope you like them and be sure to tell me what you think :)

Mõned päevad tagasi mässis Tartu ennast eriti muhedasse udukampsikusse ja motiveeris ka mind jalad alla ajama ja väikese matka ette võtma. Niisiis lippasingi oma lemmikpaika, mis nagu alati oli imeliselt rahulik ja inimtühi. Ja just siis kui ma olin oma pildistamisega eriti hoogu sattunud ilmus silmapiirile üks noormees, kes tuli sättis oma velo kenasti puu najale, otsis kotist välja ühe õlle ja hakkas seda seal siis kenasti libistama, samal ajal mõtlikult järve silmitsedes. Mh, nii tore oli näha, et ma pole ainus, kes külma ei karda ja oskab selliseid päevi hinnata. Aga teie, mu hiirekesed, olge ikka tublid, ja ma loodan, et pildid meeldivad. :)

In a box of fun things.

I'm home. Finally. Although my oh so "magical" Christmas started with a massive fever and me vomiting my insides out. At one point I couldn't even drink my tea cause I was too weak to hold the cup. Gee thanks Santa. But it's not all bad. Midterms are over, I've been sleeping in my own bed for a change and compared to the floors and tables at school, it's a pretty big improvement. So I guess things are looking up. But here are some snapshots from the month of December, it's been quite an eventful time - from designing menswear to saving kittens and spontaneous little trips overseas and of course the lovely monthly treat of seeing my illustrations in print. Hope you're all doing well and had a fabulous Christmas, so keep warm and don't forget to enjoy the little things :)

Ohh. Koduuu. Lõpuks ometi. Peale poolteist kuud eemal olemist tundub mu väike tuba kohe eriti hubane, voodi on ka kuidagi pehmem kui viimane kord ja Tartu on üldse kuidagi muhedavõitu. Jõuluõhtu mul aga kahjuks nii muhedas laadis ei möödunud ja veetsin selle hoopis palavikuga wc poti kõrval hinge heitmas. Mul on tunne, et mu kehal oli lihtsalt vastureaktsioon puhkusele ja unele sest sessieelse terrori tõttu unustas ta vist küll selliste asjade olemasolu täitsa ära. Koolist sai kodu ja neiu Stimmerist vapper kaasvõitleja ning kangadžungli tšekkidest võime küll ühe mõõduka paberlennukite armee kokku voltida ja majandusliku ikalduse leevendamiseks mõne väiksema linna üle võtta. Aga siin on nüüd väike valik pildikesi, mis said detsembri jooksul üles pildistatud - alustades spontaansuse võidukäikudest ja minu üllatavalt edukast plaanist vallutada meesterõivaste disaini keerukat maailma ja sellest karvasest kodutust tiigrikesest, kes nüüdseks nurrub juba päris oma diivani peal ning lõpetades muidugi ka uute illustratsioonide trükipildis imetlemisega. Oli üks ütlemata tegus kuu! Teile, mu kallid hiirekesed, soovin ma aga imeilusaid pühi, palju und ja lund ning pehmeid kiisupaisid. :)
