This post would have been up some time ago, but my dear old computer decided to give me the middle finger by scaring be to death with yet another crash and burn blue screen horror. So I spent the whole day frantically copying files to my external hard drive. I've been slacking with backing up my files for the past few months, so you can imagine my panic. But the day is saved and I'm here with some lovely-dovely news! Not only can you get some goodies from Pull&Bear but Bershka is now also selling print T-shirts with my little photograph on them, yay! And I also had a tiny feature on style.mtv! And in the midst of all this loveliness here are some photographs for you to enjoy and as always I really hope you like them and be sure to tell me what you think :)
Need pildid ootavad tegelikult juba mõnda aega postitamist, aga semu arvuti otsustas mulle keskmist sõrme näidata ja hädise ragina saatel väikese blue screen nalja teha. Ja kuna ma olen viimased paar kuud failide varukoopiate tegemisega häbiväärselt laisk olnud, siis võite ette kujutada minu paanikat kui kallis herr Lenovo oma pildi tasku otsutas lükata. Hiljem võttis ta aga tuurid jälle üles nagu poleks midagi juhtunud.. Samas ma ei pahanda, ta vist on juba sellises eas kus väike seniilsuse säde kõvakettas suriseb ja ta unustama kipub, et minu õrn hing sellist huumorit ei mõista. Igaljuhul on mul häid uudiseid ka, nimelt saab nüüd peale Pull&Bear'i ka Bershkast minu fotonatukesega särke-värke hankida. Ja hiljuti sai minu blogi ka style.mtv's väikese äramärkimise. Juhei! Igaljuhul lasengi teid nüüd pilte uudistama ja nagu ikka olge tublid mu hiirekesed ja hoidke käpad soojas! :)

Like Bishop Moroccos' haunting lyrics: last year's troubles are so old fashioned.. here I am, turning a new leaf and starting fresh. Took these snapshots with my 35mm analog camera, got the film developed and added some doodles and whatnot to create this sort of a new years resolutions list, well not as much resolutions but maybe just new goals with a sprinkle of wishful thinking. As you can see I'm starting with the hardest and maybe the most important thing - and that is to let go. Let go of all the bad, all the good and all the other stuff that is weighing me down. The next one, dream big, has never been a problem for me. I'm already Picasso with a side of Anna Wintour in my head, so I have enough fuel to conquer the next thing on my list which is to work hard. And if I do that, the other pieces will fall into place - and maybe, just maybe I'll get to invite you to my first gallery show and have a nifty little farewell party with my friends and fly to Iceland. Also.. I need to get a blender for my apartment, I've developed a bit of a smoothie addiction now that I've been home. Anyways I hope like the pictures and be sure to tell me what you think :)
Võttes eeskuju Bishop Morocco kummitavatest sõnadest - last year's troubles are so old fashioned, alsutan ka mina seda imelist kolmeteistkümnendat keerates uue lehe. Sain hiljuti ilmutusest kätte oma 35mm analoogkaamera esimesed kutsikad, lisasin neile mõned kritseldused ja nüüd ongi Teie ees mu semi-uusaastalubadused. Tegelikult mitte niivõrd lubadused, vaid pigem uued eesmärgid ning õhulossid, mille vundamenti ma nüüd vaikselt valama saan hakata, et 2014 aastal juba oma kindlusetornidest vaadet nautida. Igaljuhul alustasin enda jaoks võibolla kõige raskemast, aga kindlasti ühest tähtsamast punktist. Pean olema vapper väike sõdalane ja lahti laskma kõigest, mis ei vääri kinni hoidmist - kõik halb, kõik hea ja kõik muu sodi, mis padja pea all kivikõvaks muudab ja und röövib. Järgmise punktiga mul juba raskusi pole - suurelt unistamine on liim, millega oma mõtteid kokku kleebin ja kütus, mis toidab ning motiveerib ja muudab järgmise asja minu nimekirjas kõige nauditavamaks tegevuseks terves maailmas - töö. Ja kui ma teen tööd, palju-palju tööd ja näen vaeva, siis võibolla saan juba õige pea teid kõiki oma esimese näituse avamisele kutsuda ja juba sügisest kamraadidele, kodule ja EKA'le mõneks ajaks adjöö pai teha ja Islandit vallutama minna..hmm ja blenderi peaks ka endale hankima :D. Vot, aga teie mu hiirekesed, olge ikka tublid, ja ma loodan, et pildi meeldivad. :)

Bishop Morocco - Last Year's Disco Guitars
We had such gorgeous foggy weather the other day, so I decided to go to my favorite little winter wonderland and shoot some pictures. The place was as peaceful as ever and as always I was the only one there. And just when I got the hang of capturing this foggy magic I noticed a fellow with a bike, just strolling down the lake. As he got closer he set his bike down to a nearby tree, sat down and pulled out a beer. It was just such a delight to see someone just sitting there overlooking the lake, sipping beer and enjoying this lovely day. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't mind the freezing cold and likes to savor days like this. So here are the pictures, hope you like them and be sure to tell me what you think :)
Mõned päevad tagasi mässis Tartu ennast eriti muhedasse udukampsikusse ja motiveeris ka mind jalad alla ajama ja väikese matka ette võtma. Niisiis lippasingi oma lemmikpaika, mis nagu alati oli imeliselt rahulik ja inimtühi. Ja just siis kui ma olin oma pildistamisega eriti hoogu sattunud ilmus silmapiirile üks noormees, kes tuli sättis oma velo kenasti puu najale, otsis kotist välja ühe õlle ja hakkas seda seal siis kenasti libistama, samal ajal mõtlikult järve silmitsedes. Mh, nii tore oli näha, et ma pole ainus, kes külma ei karda ja oskab selliseid päevi hinnata. Aga teie, mu hiirekesed, olge ikka tublid, ja ma loodan, et pildid meeldivad. :)
