Talks like a gentleman.

I had a perfectly mellow Valentine's Day. So here's a selection of photographs and my illustrations for this months Anne&Stiil magazine that I thought I'd share with you guys. They turned out surprisingly delightful, despite the fact that I'm a bit of an anti romantic and illustrating an article about wonderful "love at first sight" stories isn't the most inspiring thing I can do. I also made some postcards with the illustrations and they made really cute presents to give to my friends. Overall I had a really lovely day, we ate cake and learned how much work goes into making a perfect suit for le menfolk, and like a cherry on top of a romantic little cake I called it a day with watching How I Met Your Mother and munching on some milk chocolate. Ja nüüd ongi teie ees minu muhe Valentinipäev ja ka selle kuu Anne&Stiili illustratsioonid, mis üllataval kombel kukkusid isegi täitsa toredasti välja. Olenemata sellest, et suhetevaldkonda laastab suurem ikaldus kui mu külmkappi, kust vaatab vastu pakk veini ja üks kuivanud sidrun. Ja mõistagi ei ole siis teiste imeliste "armastus esimesest silmapilgust" jutukeste lugemine maailma kõige inspireerivam tegevus. Igaljuhul said illustratsioonidest ka väikesed postkaardikesed tehtud, mida oli päris tore koos lilledega kamraadidele taskusse pista. Päev ise möödus rahulikult - sõime kooki ja õppisime kuidas pintsakut selga raputada ja nagu kirss ühel romantilisel tordil - lõpetasin õhtu diivanil lösutades, seltsiks lemmiksari How I Met Your Mother ja tahvel šokolaadi. Aga teie, mu hiirekesed, olge ikka tublid, ja ma loodan, et pildid meeldivad :)

Wish you all a lovely Valentine's Day! Make sure to remember your loved ones and don't be stingy with those hugs! And if you happen to be single, like yours truly, then don't let that bother you. I am planning to rock the socks off my little red beret and eat chocolate till' I'm sick (yeah, probably not, but you get the point). Funfun! Kõige ilusamat Valentinipäeva teile, mu kallid hiirekesed! Pidage ikka oma häid ja paremaid kamraade meeles, ärge kiisupaidega koonerdage ning ärge laske vallalise staatusel ennast kohe kuidagi segada. Mina näiteks kavatsen oma punasel baretikesel sokid otsast rokkida, kõiki ja kõike kallistada (tegelikult mitte, ma pole suurem asi kallistaja, aga mõte on see, mis loeb) ja hommikuks-lõunaks-õhtuks ja väikeseks vahepalaks šokolaadi süüa. Hea plaan ei ole halb! :)

Trampled By Turtles - Where Is My Mind

I asked to be a hummingbird.

These photographs have actually been waiting to be posted for quite some time now. I think the last time I was able to capture such gorgeous sunlight was at the end of August, so I had almost forgotten how much I adore days like this. The adorable mittens that I'm wearing were a late birthday/Christmas present from my dear friend Kati, who must have gotten some baby unicorns mixed in with the beautiful blue yarn, because my little fingers have never had the pleasure of spending time in such warm softness. Now I just wish I could super size one these, so I could cuddle up inside of it and never come out.. well maybe only for an occasional cinnamon laced coffee and some quality Facebook time. But anyway.. without further ado here's a quiet day in my suburban wonderland where the streets are mute and the air is crisp and sugary. Hope you like the pictures :)

Siin on väike valik fotosid, mis tegelikult juba mõnda aega postitamist ootavad.Viimati õnnestus mul taolist valgust pildile püüda kunagi augusti lõpus, seega olin juba peaagu ära unustanud kui väga ma selliseid päevi jumaldan. Käes nurruvad mul aga kõige musimad kindakesed, mille neiu Stimmer mulle jõulu/sünnipäevakingiks valmis nikerdas. Sinna kõige õigemasse sinisesse põimis ta vist eksikombel sisse ka paar ükssarvikubeebit, sest minu sõrmed küll enne nii pehmes pesas pole saanud aega veeta. Nüüd võikski kuskil kapinurgas selline supersize variant olla ja vot, siis ainult keerakski ennast sinna mõnusasti kerra ja ootaks kevadet, vahepeal ainult kaneeliga kohvi ja facebooki feed'i järele hiilides. Aga rohkem ma ei lobise ja nüüd ongi teie ees üks rahulik päev mu koduses Tartu äärelinnakeses, kus päike paitab pead ja õhk on suhkruselt krõbe. Olge tublid mu hiirekesed! :)
